Coach Brittany & Coach Matt Brittany Klotzbach has been involved with competitive swimming since the age of 5. Her swimming career began at Wanakah Country Club during the summer season. She began year-round swimming with TWST at age 7, and competed regularly until age 14. She enjoys every aspect of the sport. She is currently attending University at Buffalo, and works as a tennis instructor/lifeguard at Hickory Hill Swim and Tennis during the summer.

Level 1 swimming is for the beginner swimmer. This swimmer must be able to swim at least 25 yards, or 1 length of the pool without stopping. The primary objective for Level 1 swimmers is instructional. Level 1 swimmers do not compete unless they request to do so, and the coach feels that the swimmer is ready. Practices are held up to three days weekly. Please refer to the monthly calendar for Level 1 practice times. All practices are held at Orchard Park High School. |

Level 2 swimmers possess skills beyond Level 1. They ought to have some proficiency in both freestyle, backstroke and diving skills. Our objective will be to fine tune their freestyle and backstroke and introduce them to butterfly and breaststroke. Level 2 swimmers may compete if the coaches feel they are ready. Practices are held up to three days weekly. Please refer to the monthly calendar for Level 2 practice times. All practices are held at Orchard Park High School.

Level 3 swimmers have a working knowledge of all four strokes, as well as starts and turns. They are also ready for competition. Practice focus is on continued stroke development and conditioning. These swimmers are expected to compete at dual and open meets. Practices are held up to four days weekly. Please refer to the monthly calendar for Level 3 practice times. Coach Keith Keith Healy has been involved in competitive swimming either as a swimmer or coach over the last 37 years. His swimming career started at age 5 and ended at age 22. Keith is a 5 time ECIC champion who excelled at 200 IM and the breast stroke. He has coached at various levels throughout his coaching career starting with the Cheektowaga Stingrays, Cheektowaga Central boys Varsity Team and TWST. Keith loves this sport and is willing to teach/coach anyone who is willing to learn. |

For the 5th grade and Middle School swimmer. Focus is directed at specific race preparation while competing & maintaining technical proficiency in all strokes. This level includes the more competitive, skilled and dedicated 9-12 year old. JO champions and Zone qualifiers are found here. Attendance at dual meets and other meets is mandatory. Head Coach Eric Houlahan Eric has been in the competitive swimming circle for nearly 20 years, and understands what it takes to properly prepare and motivate up-and-coming competitive swimmers. For most of his swimming career he has been involved with TWST; from swimming for Coach Henry since age 10 to coaching under Henry's tutelage on TWST over the last 10 years. Working with kids comes easy to him whether it is inside the pool or out. Eric hopes his dedication to the sport of swimming, and to his swimmers, will lead them to many accomplishments.

For the competitive older athlete. Like level 4, the focus is on specific race preparation. The best of the best can be found at level 5 - Junior National Champ qualifiers, Zone qualifiers, high school state champ qualifiers, Empire Game qualifiers etc. ALL swimmers over the age of 13 swim with level 5. Attendance at dual meets and other designated meets is mandatory. Practices are held up to six days weekly. Please refer to the monthly calendar for Level 5 practice times. Dryland Training |

Scott Geisen, Trainer Scott has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee and a Masters' degree in Sports Medicine from Western Michigan University. He has earned professional certifications from the National Athletic Trainers Association and also from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is currently a Physical Education teacher at Amherst High School, the Athletic Trainer for Williamsville East boys and girls soccer teams and also for The Jim Kelly Football Camp. Previous positions include: Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Knoxville Blue Jays (Toronto AA affiliate), Erie 1 BOCES Instructor for the Coaches Strength and Conditioning Course and he worked as an Athletic Trainer/Strength Coach for Fitness, Sports and Physical Therapy in Orchard Park. |

The objective of the TWST dryland training program is to prevent injury and increase swimmer performance. The goal is to put TWST swimmers in a position to reach their ultimate potential and remain injury free. Program includes core training and injury prevention exercises. Program will utilize medicine balls, balance balls and bungee type bands. This is not a weight lifting program. Eligible swimmers are middle school age or older and/or swimming in level 5. |
